This reflects the state of my thoughts on this path 12 years ago. I would write this somewhat differently today.

We are Taught
We are born into this life as creatures of emotion and intuition.
Then we are taught.
We are taught to be good to others at the expense of ourselves.
We are taught to think logically.
We are taught we are not luminous beings of emotion and intuition.
We are taught to be, what we are not.
Guided by emotion and intuition,
we will often be on the path best suited to our own nature and rightness — though it may not meet other people’s expections, and will never satisfy everyone’s desire.
