Hello everybody or in Chinese "Da Jia Hao"
I just joined this forum and by the looks of it, it should be an interesting and enlightening ride.
A bit about myself:
I'm a 26 year old South African, who has spent the past three years in the east. I lived in Taiwan for a 2 years teaching Enlgish and learning Chinese and since then I've been tavelling, South East Asia, India and now mainland China. I've been fiddling around with this whole spiritual thing for a while now, but haven't found a practice that I can call my own yet. I month ago I started learning Tai Chi here in China and I feel that it might just be what I'm looking for, if I can just keep it up. At the moment I'm still travelling, therefore going around trying to find a good teacher. I've learned Yang style 24 steps and 42 steps so far and whould like to concentrate more on cultivating the internal capacities more than learning more styles. I would really like to find a qigong teacher, but since qigong is sush a big field I have to select a specific form of qigong, thus teacher, or just go with the Tao and see what happens. But my travellings days are probably almost over and I will go the Shanghai area to find a job in about a month.
So that me at the moment, but it will change soon, as everything does.
Great to be here! Peace, Love
Corver
