Howdy and Greetings,

I go by "Oracle3927" cool.gif and I was directed to say "hi" and a little bit about myself.

Hi. blink.gif

I have a martial arts background and have a long standing interest in all things esoteric. ph34r.gif Presently, I'm re-visiting Taoism and would love some recommendations in regards to practices (mediation or anything to cultivate the spirit-mind-body).

I look forward to getting to know you all. biggrin.gif
...and if there's anyone in the Atlanta area who'd like to get together to chat or play, let me know.

I too, study the martial arts and enjoy its many attributes. If you are in the martial arts yourself, I would recommend finding a mentor that can teach you something about the cultivation of Chi. Maybe you have already discovered this potent force of internal energy. If you want to get a prep course on it, I recommend you buy the book entitled Tai Chi Classics by Waysun Liao. As all of the martial arts are rooted in tai chi, this is a good book to own even if you are not interested in developing your inner chi.
