Full Version: Enlightenment vis-à-vis Yang-body
The Tao Bums > Tao Lounge > Taoist Discussion
Loke
Hi all I move this question to an own topic to be sure that anyone that know the answer
will read it.

Can anyone tell me the differece between (perhaps the question should be how will these
relate) "enlightenment" and this "yang body"?
What I see from my point of view is that there are two Taoistic(?) alignments, some
of you try to supress emotions to reach "enlightenment" and at least one of you is
collecting energi to build a "yang body".
I guess that what I call "supress emotions" is some kind of balance which is possible
to lose but a "yang body" is permanent.
Pranaman
there is no suppression, but a letting go. Suppression creates imbalance. Surrendering creates freedom.

So what do you mean with surrender?
If you see a liquor shop you:
  1. Enter it and buy a bottle
  2. You pretend that this shop dont exist
This is normal New Age behaviour where I live
You could change the liquor shop with whatever you want

How about this... you see the shop for what it is, acknowledge its presence yet remain uninfluenced by it, and move on to carry out whatever task is at hand.

Yours humbly,
