i was wondering if anyone has read this book

i think its a great book for people who are just starting to get involved in taoism.

It states in the book that some of the special qualities of taoists are:

Simplicity
Sensitivity
Flexibility
Independence
Focused
Cultivated
Disciplined
Joyous

i really like the book and it sort of has sentiment value(birthday gift)

i was wondering was you guys thoughts was on this book?

never heard of it, many Tao books are good, depending mainly in the authors understanding. I would say that reading as many translations of Tao Te Ching, then Chuang Tzu would be the best start smile.gif

i remember now, i did read that book. I enjoyed the guys novel, a story based in old China and some monks with great fighting power. It was an enjoyable story but that's all. The book you mention is a companion to another of his books, it was nice, but did not leave a big impression on me. I hope you enjoy it smile.gif
